2020 Membership Campaign Kick-Off
In 2020, we are focusing our Outreach and Engagement Team efforts on raising awareness about Gem City Market in the neighborhoods and zip codes right around the market site.
Our 2020 goal is to welcome another 700 Trade Area Member Owners!
This is where our current member-owners who live in 45402, 45405, 45406, 45416, 45417, 45426 are critical in the achievement of our membership goals. Word of mouth continues to be the most effective marketing tool.
( * Our goal for September 1, 2020 -or- by opening day, whichever comes first!)
Every Thursday in February our Engagement Team is meeting up
at CSU – West to call current member-owners in the trade area zip codes and to address and mail out membership campaign kits to those who have requested them.
We’ll walk you through the simple process of speaking with our member-owners (as you know) are a generally friendly lot who are delighted to receive a call from the co-op.
We’ve been astounded and bolstered by the support of nearing 2,500 member-owners from around the city (and country even)! We’ll continue to accept new member-owners even after we open and into the future. As a cooperative, we are owned and controlled by our members. (Once we have employees, they will have the opportunity to buy-in to the cooperative at a deeper level and we will have worker-owners too!)
It is important for this ownership and control to have full representation of the neighborhoods we are dedicated to serving. Our Outreach and Engagement Team continues to sow seeds of awareness and excitement for our market coming to Salem and Superior.
