What is the Gem City Market?

The Gem City Market is a worker and community-owned grocery store that will be built in one of Dayton’s food deserts. Our goal is to address the food crisis in Dayton, while simultaneously strengthening the community and the economy. In addition to offering full-service grocery services, the market will include a teaching kitchen and an onsite dietician.
